A New Hope for Shelter Dogs
Who are we?
We are students of Akademeia High School. We are doing this project as part of our Personal Developmemt Scheme. Our goal is to help Shelter for Homeless Dogs in Józefów.

Jesteśmy ucznia Akademei High School. Ten projekt jest częścia naszego Personal Development Scheme. Naszym celem jest pomoc dla Schroniska dla Bezdomnych zwierząt w Józefowie.
Orionka
She was found alongside Neptun in a landfill and ended up in the shelter. She has gained confidence being around people and has learned to walk on a leash. She is now 4 years old and is full of a joy when she sees a person. She loves long walks and is waiting to be adopted. She can be adopted separate or together. She is currently staying in Wyszkow.
What is the situation in the shelter?
Shelter in Józefów is a private shelter, that currently has over 100 dogs. It receives no funding from both National government and local governments. It functions solely thanks to donations and volunteers. Most of the volunteer are from foundation Kundelos.
Jak wygląda sytuacja w schronisku?
Schronisko w Józefowie jest prywatnym schroniskiem, w którym obecnie znajduje się ponad 100 psów. Nie otrzymuje ono wsparcia ani od rządu ani od samorządów. Funkcjonuje tylko i wyłącznie dzięki dotacjom i wolontariuszom. Większość wolontariuszy jest z fundacji Kundelos.
